People walk by dont look me in the eye
Just in case i look and ask them why?
People stare at me when my back is turned
when i turn they turn never looking in the same direction

People judge on looks and personality
but when it comes to it, the inside never counts
the world looks at you and exspects you to change
but if they did....could you?

I got into a scrape and turned to my friends
but they arnt there, were they ever there?
they were walking with me, bright as can be
then the shadows came and took them away from me
were they there? standing beside me
or were they a figment of my imagination
is that why people stop and stare?

do i denie the fact that life will never change
or do i change, do i wait and stare at them?
